Ok -album ‘It is what it is’ signed to Bomobeats and coming out on the 15th July via iTunes, Beatport and a whole host of other download sites. There will be a limited run of physical copies as well, more details soon. We’re having an album launch party on Thursday 15th July at the Player in Soho DJ’s include Chris Coco (it’s his night), Luke Dubyah and myself.

On the production front, remixes for Gemma Mewse have had good reaction – out now in all the usual download stores. Many thanks to Kissy for airplay/support on Radio One alongside airplay on RTE in Ireland.

I’ve been embarking on a new project with Roy Merchant (of the Architechs fame) between us as the BMX team we’re working on some new remixes with some really fresh sounds coming out from those sessions.

The djing front is expanding with more boyinthecorner sets coming up in the next few months, something I’ve been really keen to push – a more eclectic and diverse range of music.

Off to Reading to play tonight, followed by a Bomobeats party in Bournemouth on Saturday. Happy days!!

Looking forward to this weekend. DJing Friday in Reading for a Cornerbox set, followed on Saturday by a post Wonderland party at Bar Sia in London then off to Newcastle to play at Ohso on Sunday night. Happy days.

Also the album has had some really positive reactions – can’t wait to announce who we’re releasing it through. Exciting times!

Quick updates for you. Cracking gigs at the end of the year and great to kick off again with the Cornerbox sets in Reading last Friday. Looking forward to taking theboyinthecorner project on the road as well with some more eclectic, balearic and deep jazzy house sounds.

The last few weeks have been studio intensive with the finishing touches to my new album being nailed as we speak – promo’s coming soon with a full release via Bomobeats the Bourneouth Indie label.

In addition looking forward to a couple of new remix commissions which we’ll be getting stuck into next week.

Starting with gigs – of to Rev’s for a 5 hour Cornerbox set tonight which is always a top night. Then it’s off to Egypt to see Owen and the Ministry of Sound team in Hurghada for a Hed Kandi gig (the new club looks incredible), then a trip to Milan on the 12th to play at ‘The Club’ I hear very good things. In between some more sets at Reading including Christmas Eve – then it’s back to ‘home’ turf for NYE at Club V in Bournemouth for Hed Kandi. What a way to see in 2010!

Theboyinthecorner business has been busy, recently completing projects for the new Eric Prydz website and pushing Sander Van Doorn (top 10 in this years top 100 dj’s) and Pete Goodings shows.

Musically, been back to school at a college in Southbank learning loads of new tricks which I can’t wait to put into action and work is in progress on a wicked little houser with Jim Breese – watch this space.

Happy days – just awaiting confirmation on some more international Kandi dates and Reading continues to be a wicked monthly residency. Summer may be long gone now, but all is good in the world!

Gigwise, a quieter month ahead at the moment – off to Reading tomorrow night for a 5 hour set which is always such a good gig.

If you can check out the Hed Kandi show on Galaxy Radio next weekend 15th August from 7-9pm. I’m filling in for David Dunn and will be spinning our brand new Rigg and Bailey remix of Jay C’s latest track – Rollin’.

It’s the big studio move/upgrade finally this weekend – looking forward to getting settled in a bigger studio and pushing on with the production…. I might look at teaching some DJ lessons there in the future – should be fun.

Gigwise, lots on. Looking forward to Belfast this weekend, and then off to Swansea, Sunny Beach in Bulgaria and Gibraltar again. Can’t wait.

Remixwise back on a re-work of a new Hed Kandi signing with Dean Rigg which is sounding good and in the studio tomorrow working on a new album mix.

Back to studio sessions this week for some labels and some production with one of my favourite vocalists and back with Dean Rigg for a new remix.

Busy weekend ahead, Capitol Club in Warsaw on Friday then flying back for V in Bournemouth on Saturday – then back to London first thing on Sunday. Berocca needs to be brought on mass for the coming days!!

Hed Kandi in Ibiza has had a rocking start and also check out the new website for other gig details and a competition on the hunt for a new resident.
